Our Aggregate Recycling Services
Constant Improvement Drives us to Crush it Better at Portable Crushing Services
New Life for Waste Materials
Portable Crushing Services recycles waste concrete and asphalt into high quality recycled aggregate materials at a lower cost than disposing of waste and sourcing, purchasing and transporting new aggregate materials. We transform waste concrete and asphalt into valuable recycled aggregate materials used to rebuild existing roads, construct new roads, and supply new construction and infrastructure projects. Recycled aggregate materials offer superior compaction, better yield, higher "R" values, and greater durability over virgin (quarry or pit) aggregate bases. The use of recycled aggregates are typically authorized by State Transportation Departments for use in roadbeds and drainage projects. Recycled aggregate materials are also an excellent choice in landscaping, block filling, retaining walls, and a variety of other construction applications.
Portable Crushing Services produces a variety of grades and types of recycled concrete and asphalt materials tailored to meet your project's needs and specifications.

Recycled Concrete
Portable Crushing Services turns your waste concrete into valuable recycled aggregate materials that can be reused in new construction projects. Recycling waste concrete onsite eliminates the need to transport and dispose of waste materials and then source, purchase and transport new aggregate materials. This creates efficiencies that translate into cost savings and increased profitability. Our team can produce an average of 2,500 tons per day of recycled concrete (depending on crushing conditions). Our equipment is completely portable and self-contained. It does not require any special infrastructure or external power sources. Common recycled aggregate materials produced from waste concrete include:
- Fines
- 3/4" Class 6 Road Base
- 3/4" Screened Road
- 1 1/2" Screened Rock
- 3" Screened Rock
We can mobilize our equipment to job sites throughout Colorado.

Recycled Asphalt
Portable Crushing Services recycles waste asphalt from streets and roadways into Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) that is primarily used in hot mix asphalt. RAP can be reused to rebuild existing roads or build new highways at a lower cost. Our portable processing and crushing equipment turns waste asphalt roadway material into 1 ½” to minus sized RAP. Our team can produce an average of 3,000 tons per day of recycled asphalt (depending on crushing conditions). Our equipment is completely portable and self-contained. It does not require any special infrastructure or external power sources. Common recycled asphalt products include:
- RAP (1-1 ½" to 3/8”)
- Road base - 3/4", 1", 1 1/2" minus
- Crushed asphalt
RAP is often used in a number of highway construction applications, including:
- Granular base or sub-base
- Stabilized base aggregate or fill material
- Aggregate substitute and asphalt cement supplement in recycled asphalt paving
We can mobilize our equipment to your job sites throughout Colorado.

Dirty Concrete
The term "Dirty Concrete" is industry jargon for waste concrete containing any type of steel, metal, wire mesh or other foreign material. The cost to transport and landfill Dirty Concrete regularly exceeds fifty dollars ($50) a ton. Our processing, crushing, screening and stacking systems are designed to effectively remove steel, metal, wire mesh and other types of foreign material to ensure you get a clean, high quality recycled aggregate product at a lower cost. We take the reclaimed steel and metals and ship it to steel mills to be recycled into new products. We can also help you recycle steel and metals from Dirty Concrete generated from your demolition projects or dismantling jobs.

At the top of the list, we value our families and the communities in which we live and work. At the same time, we have developed a stable set of core values that we incorporate into conducting our business as follows:
- Quality & Safety: The quality of our services must meet or exceed the expectations of our customers without compromising the safety and well-being of our team members.
- Commitment: We are dedicated to delivering stellar performance, using maximum effort, while maintaining positive and professional attitudes.
- Integrity: We are trustworthy, honest, and fair in every aspect of our business. We always conduct ourselves with integrity even when we think no one is watching.
- People: We invest in our team members because we view them as partners in our success. By working as a team, we grow and create opportunities within a respectful, safe, and healthy workplace.

Safety is a moral obligation. Our goal is zero harm and no lost days on the job due to workplace accident or injury. The prevention of accidents and injuries always takes precedence over expedience. There is no higher priority than workplace safety.
The term "Safe Production" reflects our priority for workplace safety and the belief that the safety of our team members and efficient and effective production are complimentary rather than competing. Safe Production is a means to achieving and sustaining a positive work environment while meeting or exceeding our customer's expectations. Safe Production is not always easy. Ours is an industry in which issues and conditions arise daily that may tempt us to focus on one aspect of the business to the detriment of the other. Expediency, like complacency, can lead to decisions that prove detrimental to both team member safety and operational effectiveness. Safe Production is made easier when we work together as a team, thinking not only about ourselves and our business, but our co-workers, families, friends, and everyone else that would be impacted by a serious workplace accident or injury. Workplace safety is truly a case where an ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure.
The safety hazards and risks present at an aggregate crushing and recycling worksite are continuously changing and evolving. Keeping everyone safe requires a commitment to not only react to those changing conditions, but to proactively identify potential risks and actively work to eliminate or control them. This is best accomplished by creating a culture of safety in which all team members are committed to ensuring the safest workplace possible.
With decades of experience, our Safety Coordinator oversees the implementation of the company's safety program in order to integrate safety into the day-to-day activities of all team members. He looks to identify unsafe conditions and practices and determine remedies. The Safety Coordinator conducts job-site audits, inspections, safety meetings, and new employee orientations. He ensures the organization is compliant with OSHA and EPA regulations.
